"Connected, but Alone"
This Ted Talk was about how people are relying more on technology for basic feelings and emotions instead of talking to other people, it is also about how people are so invested into their technology they have trouble having conversations.
My biggest "take away" from this Ted Talk was that I need to put my phone down sometimes and focus on the things and people around me.
I think we are connected in some way with technology because of everything is offers but we are alone when it comes to the things that technology can't do like emotions and feelings.
I do like living in the digital age because I think it helps me stay connected with my friends all the time no matter where they are or no matter where I am, I also like it because it is easier for some things like getting information for school or just anything else in general and it offers a lot of cool things and opens up doors for your future.
The longest amount of time I can go without using technology during the day is probably an hour.
My online self is only slightly different than my actual self because online I don't really express how I feel but in real life I do.
Some things I like to do without using technology is hanging out with my friends, going shopping, or playing with my dog, and sometimes reading or organizing things.
